Michelle Goodall awarded in inaugural Independent Impact 50 awards

I’m delighted to share that I’ve been recognised as one of the UK’s top independent consultants in the first-ever Independent Impact 50 awards.

The Independent Impact 50 awards recognise the impact and professionalism of independent practitioners.

Those awarded are described as having a “disproportionate client impact, industry contribution and commitment to raising professional standards.”

The Independent Impact 50 Awards recognises the impact and professionalism of independent practitioners.

The judging panel included many of the UK’s most respected communications professionals. They looked for evidence of impact, persuading clients to think differently, providing fearless advice, supporting/championing others and the highest of professional standards.

It was genuinely moving to be acknowledged. It was also good to pause and reflect on the positive influence that myself and other award winners have on our clients’ businesses. We shared stories about the sheer amount of behind-the-scenes work we do that goes unseen, and is rarely rewarded.

Congratulations to all the award winners. It was wonderful to be in such incredible company. I thoroughly enjoyed an afternoon celebrating with you against the sunny backdrop of the River Thames.

A special thank you to the founders and supporters

Thank you to Rod Cartwright and Nigel Sarbutts, who led this initiative and have identified that us ‘freerangers’ deserve acknowledgement.

Thank you to the partners CIPR, PRCA, PRovoke Media, Socially Mobile, and headline sponsors 72Point for your support and helping to make the awards happen.
